AirCard-iOS customizes Apple Wallet card artwork, lock screen passcode dialers, and lock screen wallpapers directly on device without a jailbreak. It talks to internal system services over a local loopback tunnel (10.7.0.1 or 127.0.0.1) provided by LocalDevVPN, while AirliftFFI — a Rust library — handles file operations through the AirTraffic service. Once paired on-device via Bonjour and Developer Mode, no computer or external connection is needed.

Download the IPA

Grab the latest AirCard-iOS.ipa from the GitHub releases, or build it from source with ./build-ipa.sh.

Sideload & run LocalDevVPN

Install the IPA via SideStore, AltStore, TrollStore, or LiveContainer, then run LocalDevVPN in loopback mode (10.7.0.1 or 127.0.0.1).

Pair in Developer Mode

Does AirCard-iOS require a jailbreak?

No. AirCard-iOS talks to internal system services over a LocalDevVPN loopback tunnel and the AirTraffic service through AirliftFFI. No persistent jailbreak, bootstrap, or daemon is installed.

Which iOS versions are supported?

AirCard-iOS currently requires iOS 27.0 or newer. The exploit and cache paths target iOS 27.0 and above.

How does on-device pairing work without a computer?

The app advertises itself over Bonjour and reads the pairing record automatically into aircard_pairing.plist. Pair it under Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → Pair with AirCard-iOS.

Will it affect Apple Pay or card security?

No. AirCard-iOS only replaces visual cache files such as cardBackgroundCombined@3x.png. It does not touch the Secure Enclave or alter card credentials, so Apple Pay transactions and rewards are unaffected.

How do I build the IPA from source?

Clone the repo, install Xcode 16+ and XcodeGen, then run ./build-ipa.sh. The completed package is written to build/AirCard-iOS.ipa. A Rust toolchain is only needed to rebuild rust-core.
